The curious case of the Ventnor Blog

This morning I awoke to a most curious discovery.

Whilst perusing (yes perusing, what?) the latest updates on twitter I came across a tweet from Tim Burgess from the Charlatans.  Basically it was just a link to a website.  This website was the Ventnor Blog!  Now for those of you that don't know, Ventnor is a small seaside town on the south side of the Isle of Wight.  It is very pretty, but a bit run down.  That it merits a blog was a bit of a shock the bigger shock was that it's actually really cool.  Fernandomando, my fellow blogger and rival managed to get himself a mention a few weeks ago, which I decide to ignore and not mention, but now after looking at the blog I have to say, I'm impressed.  Am also impressed that Mr Burgess who's curating the Sunday night in the Big Top at the Isle of Wight Festival was aware of it.

So well done Ventnor Blog.

For the tweeters amongst you, you can follow the @VentnorBlog

  1. I am glad that you finally realise the awesome power of Ventnorblog. It is not just about Ventnor, and I would say that it is the best IOW resource.
Also, I await a mention of Diary of a Ledger on Ventnorblog.
    Your friendly rival
