My birthday always starts early...

Thanks to my sister my birthday has started five days before the event.  She organised an evening, along with the lovely Jo, for Carl (who turns 30 on Friday, the day before mine) and I.  We got balloons (see above), lasagne and party games.  Ally joined us too so it was a mini tweetup at Jo's which was lovely.

There are those that will tell you that twitter is for the follows and the RTs.  But it's not for me.  It's for the friends I've made along the way as I've bitched and moaned my way through the last two years (while gaining follows and the RTs).

One of my big highlights of the last year has been seeing my sis embrace it, enjoy it, get 'it' and become such an important part of it for lots of people.  Thanks for sorting last night Gill.  Loves ya x
